2024 Dedications: What Changed
(1) Orem Utah Temple — January 21, 2024: added a third operating temple to Utah County. Reduced temple drive times for Orem and southern Utah County members. Confirmed Utah County’s extraordinary temple density. Real estate impact: minimal on prices (already strong market) but meaningful for daily quality of life. (2) Red Cliffs Utah Temple (St. George) — March 24, 2024: dedicated by Elder Henry B. Eyring. Added the second operating temple to Washington County. The following temples have dedications scheduled as of early 2026: Burley Idaho Temple — dedicated January 11, 2026 (#212). Southern Idaho Magic Valley LDS community. Burley is the hub of the Magic Valley region, serving Twin Falls and surrounding communities. Affordable market ($280K-$420K) with established LDS community. Yorba Linda California Temple — dedication scheduled June 7, 2026. Orange County, California. Adds a second temple to Orange County alongside Newport Beach.
